Working enquiry:
How can a contemporary craft and design process of re-creation/reconstruction be used to reinterpret and gain new perspectives on historical objects?
Research areas currently being explored include:
- Making the intangible tangible
- Re-materialising the immaterial
- Recalling the past through image and object
- Representing the objects listed in 18th century inventories through contemporary re-created objects
- Connecting sensibilities of past and present through contemporary trigger point objects
- Articulating the past using contemporary design methods of representation
